Matt Smith

Matt joined The IN Group in March 2021 to lead business development across Investigo, InX, Definia and Caraffi. He immediately made a massive difference to the group by working with our senior leadership team to maximise returns from our existing client relationships and drive our expansion into new markets.

In October 2023, he took on a role leading the next phase of growth for our technology, transformation and CIO business. With 25 years in predominantly technology recruitment, he’s a hugely respected figure in the tech industry with a passion for connecting brilliant people. We’ve got a pretty ambitious business strategy, and to deliver a strategy like that, you need a person like Matt – someone with boundless positivity and energy who thrives on making things happen.

He’s also a bit of a dab hand with a ladle and chopping board, having appeared on a cooking show on Vietnamese TV. Be sure to give him a hearty xin chào whenever you see him!
